Images from PSWD Rose Shows 2004-2007

( The following rose arrangements images come from various rose shows in the Pacific Southwest District from 2004-2007. I have kept them for the history and the memories. All were snapshots taken with a little Nikon Coolpix that fit in my purse while traveling to judge rose shows. The Coolpix was my first digital camera (2004-2008), and it was used just for traveling to rose shows, while I continued to use my Nikon film camera for everything else. Many are out of focus. Some have terrible shadows from the use of on-camera flash. The white balance is not balanced. They are three digital cameras, UNM’s Digital Photography program, and six to nine years ago. These are not the kind of images I would take and post in 2013. But, they hold pleasant memories for me as an ARS Accredited Rose and Rose Arrangement Judge, and I hope they hold pleasant memories for other judges and arrangers.
